Loan Programs

Little Dixie Community Action Agency provides both residential and commercial loans to residents in our service area.  Residential Loans are for the purpose of purchasing a home, for assistance with down payment and closing costs, or for making home improvements to your existing home.  Commercial loans are for the purpose of securing capital for small business start-up or expansion. We also provide small “credit builder” loans for business entrepreneurs to help them establish credit and build their credit score. Although Little Dixie seeks to serve low-income individuals/families, you do not have to meet low income guidelines to borrow money for eligible activities through our loan programs.

Little Dixie Community Action Agency, Inc. has been operating small business loan programs since 1995. In 1997, through a partnership with NeighborWorks America, we established ourselves as a First Mortgage Financer which allows us to make residential loans for homebuyers. Little Dixie’s loan terms (interest rates, length of loan, loan origination fees, etc) for both commercial and residential lending are consistent with local lending institutions and mortgage companies. Small business loans are targeted to those unable to qualify for business loans under commercial lending policies.

In addition to providing and servicing loans through our agency loan programs, Little Dixie CAA also packages residential loans for BancFirst and USDA/Rural Development.

Loan amounts range from a thousand dollars to several thousand dollars, depending on type of loan, credit scores, collateral and other factors. Little Dixie CAA’s loan programs operate in partnership with the following organizations/programs.

  • U.S. Small Business Administration’s Microloan Program
  • USDA/Rural Development’s Intermediary Relending Program
  • USDA/Rural Development’s Section 502, 504 and Guaranteed Loan Programs
  • NeighborWorks America
  • BancFirst
